Prepare for Measuring

Remove your shirt or wear only light clothing. Stand straight in front of a mirror with your feet together and abdomen relaxed.

Find Your Natural Waist

Locate your natural waist by bending to the side - the crease that forms is your natural waist line. This is typically just above your belly button, where your torso is narrowest.

Take the Measurement

Wrap a soft measuring tape around your waist at this natural line. Keep the tape parallel to the floor, snug but not tight. You should be able to breathe normally.

Record Your Size

Take a normal breath and read the measurement. This number in inches or centimeters is your underwear size. Round to the nearest half-inch if needed.

For Women - Measuring Your Hips

Prepare for Measuring

Wear only underwear or form-fitting clothes. Stand straight in front of a full-length mirror with your feet together.

Locate the Widest Part

Find the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. This is usually about 7-9 inches below your natural waist. Turn sideways in the mirror to spot where your hips are most prominent.

Wrap the Tape

Place the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and ensure it's snug but not cutting into your skin.

Take the Reading

Stand relaxed and read the measurement. This is your hip size for underwear sizing. If you're between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
